Timing is everything!   -
Okay, tell me, did you check the date and time you received this newsletter in your inbox?  Did you read it right away? Well, you may not have intentionally checked the date/time stamp, but your response to it is often dictated by when it arrives in your mail. Yes, inbox timing is becoming as much a science as biology and chemistry!

Now that you're aware of this, you'll probably start noticing that your inbox seems more cluttered with mass e-mail from Tuesday to Thursday, with Tuesday being the favourite day to send. Other patterns you might notice - you receive more newsletters at the top and the bottom of the hour, and of course some send overnight with the goal of being the first in your inbox in the morning.  Is this good?  Maybe for some, but if you're anything like me, your morning is a jumble of phone calls, meetings and trying to get organized for the day ahead.

Beware, following these trends when e-mailing your impeccably crafted e-newsletter may just leave them collecting dust as they get shifted further and further down the inbox, unopened, as new e-mail are received by the minute.

Oh, and by the way, if you're wondering why we're sending out this newsletter on Tuesday, the busiest day of the week for mass email, there is a very good reason . . . it's a September newsletter and this is the last day of the month!

Timing really is everything.

Easy as pie . . .
RothesayGOEleven months from the date of the first King Pie opening in Canada at Portage Place Shopping Centre in Winnipeg,  King Pie held their second grand opening in the Eastern Canadian community of Rothesay, NB, on Saturday, September 27th.

A third location opened in Winnipeg at Polo Park's new food gallery mid-September, and a fourth location will open in the Deerfoot Mall in Calgary, AB, next week.

Dubyts Communications is proud to work with King Pie Canada to develop a marketing arsenal guaranteed to sell franchises and sell pies. IMPORTANT NOTE: These are not your typical apple and cherry pies - these are delicious puff pastry pies filled with meat, cheeses, fruits and veggies. Chicken and mushroom; steak and cheese; spinach and cheese and of course apple are only a few of the delectable flavours available!  Visit www.kingpiecanada.com for more info.

CONGRATULATIONS KING PIE!
